Innocent is the eldest of three children

His mother was a cook at one of the schools, but after marriage she moved nearer to Masaka. His father was imprisoned in recent years, although it is uncertain that he was actually involved in the crime

His mother was a cook at one of the schools, but after marriage she moved nearer to Masaka. His father was imprisoned in recent years, although it is uncertain that he was actually involved in the crime - just guilty because he was together with someone who had been guilty. His mother did not have money as a result and came to ask for help. This is the fourth year Innocent has been supported and is doing well in school. His father is now home, but all his carpentry tools were stolen when he was imprisoned so he is not able to take up his old job. The family lives from what they can grow on the small plot of land they have.
