Lockdown continues: Children are learning from home
July 2020
The schools in Uganda have been closed for almost the whole time the UK has been in lockdown. Initially, the candidate classes were expected to return to school at the beginning of June, but the Ugandan president extended their lockdown and announced that the schools, for now, will remain closed.
Onward and upward: The way forward for the boys' dormitory

In November 2018, we held the grand opening of the much-needed girls' dormitory, which now can accommodate up to 150 girls! But now, it's time for some good news for the boys.

Coronavirus in Uganda: Update on school closures

Due to the coronavirus being detected in Uganda recently, all schools have been closed down for at least a month in order to keep the children safe. This was a directive from the Ugandan government.

The coronavirus pandemic remains a serious and imminent threat in the UK. In East Africa, COVID-19 cases have also been confirmed and the number of cases, unfortunately, is rising.
